Permanent alimony in Mutual consent
10-Oct-2023 (In Divorce Law)
we are filling for mutual consent divorce. I am getting lump sum alimony.
I do not want to mention this settlement amount in my mutual consent draft.
is it possible to save tax on lump sum alimony without mentioning this settlement amount in mutual consent affidavit?.
Please advise
Dear queriest as per your query you have mentioned about the fact that you want to not to mention the alimony amount and want to save the tax, it is suggested that as per conditions of mutual consent divorce it is mandatory to mention such clauses which should clear to both he parties and which are taken into records and the same is finalized and the Honorable court pass decree and judgement accordingly.
