Percentage of Alimony in case of divorce from my spouse
11-Jun-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I am a Parsi (Zorastrian) by religion. Me and my wife both are working and earn around the same salary approximately. We have 2 kids 8 year old daughter and 4 year old son. We are having differences and she has recently started becoming abusive and started torturing me mentally. This has been going on for the past 3 years, but i have not separated due to our children. In case if i divorce what alimony do i need to pay (Percentage) for my children. What about the custody of my children. Can you please guide me regarding the same. We have been married for 12 and half years. Cannot take the mental torture anymore.
Dear Sir, there is no fix percentage for calculating Alimony.
It all depends on several factors like your income, income of wife, children’s expensesand many others.
I would suggest you to try and go for consent divorce and one time settlement amount. Which will save time and legal costs.
