Hi
Since your marriage was solemnized on 25-11-2016, you need to file leave of appeal to file for divorce under section 14 of hindu marriage act so as to override the mandatory 1 year prescribed for divorce. Yours is a fit case for divorce on grounds of cruelty(abuse, threatening to commit suicide is cruelty). So you need to take a decision and file for divorce

Speak with your wife regarding the harassment you are facing and if not convinced then suggest her for mutual consent divorce which will be better for both of you but if she is willing only else you can file a contested divorce case on her on the ground of mental harassment and cruelty. But, there is every possibility that she may file a false case under 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act & U/s.498 A IPC.

Dear Client you may file a petition for divorce in family court. It is one kind of cruelty. You did not mention that whether she has been living with you or separately. Family Court will grant a decree of divorce to you if you rightly project your case.

You can file for divorce if your wifes cruelty does not cease. In order to win in court, you will need direct evidence. 2. It is best to relocate to a different accommodation in order to prevent your wife from bringing false charges against your parents.
