My husband applied for divorce and forcing me to sign divorce u/ 13(1)

14-Jan-2023 (In Divorce Law)
My husband applied for divorce u/s 13(1) ib for cruelty etc stating fake reasons, three years before and now he is ready for settlement and divorce. But he and his lawyer are forcing me to sign for divorce u/s 13(1) ib itself. But since both parties are willing to go for divorce, we are asking them to file for mutual u/s 13(b). But he is insisting to apply for mutual u/s 13(1)ib. What is the advantage of him getting divorce under 13(1) ib. The case is still uncontested. Should I agree to them? What will be the implications to me if it is u/s 13(1)ib? Please elaborate

Hello there is no mutual u/s 13(1)ib it is a contested divorce if it has been 3 years I presume evidences must have been recorded. You should consult your own lawyer and share the papers of contested divorce filed by your husband and then only decide to go for divorce with mutual consent u/s 13 b. Here I can only see that your husband is pressurising to sign papers must be to evade from the liability of wife and children maintenance.
