Myself and my wife are Seperated for 6 months. She went to her mother's place that she was not well

11-Jul-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Myself and my wife are Seperated for 6 months. She went to her mother's place that she was not well and did not return back. Many mediations happened in between and nothing worked out. She and her parents put false allegations on us. I filed restitution of conjugal rights petition in court. Sumnon was ississued to them with hearing date. My wife and her parents came to my house after receiving the summon and demanded for her belongings and gold jewellery. We gave all her belongings including her gold jewellery in front of her relatives and my relatives. All the items were listed in a paper and signed by them before giving it to them and everything was video recorded. I just wanted to know whether they can put 498a against us after this incident? What might be their motive?

Dear Sir,
You have done a good thing by returning all the belongings of your wife...They may file 498A complaint but you will easily get anticipatory bail...You can also get anticipatory bail even before filing complaint by your wife...

Nothing will prevent them from filing a case for 498A or any other case. They may not win it, but they can still file it. What happened to the Restitution case? If you are no longer interested in staying married, then you can file a case for divorce against her.
