Under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 marriage between sapindas is prohibited.

Under the Act sapindas are cousins down to 5th generation on the paternal side and down to 3rd generation on the mother's side. In counting generations the generation of cousins concerned is also included.

Hence, as per law , your marriage will not be valid

Is it OK to marry my second cousin?

Second cousins can legally marry in all 50 states of the United States. Marriage between first cousins, however, is only legal in about half of all American states. Marriage to a cousin or half-sibling is largely dependent on local laws and cultural and/or personal beliefs. 16-Oct-2019

Which Hindu gods are married to their cousins?

In the Ramayana epic, Rama is married to Sita. The daughters of Sitas father-in-laws brother, Urmila, Sutakirti, and Mandavi, were then given to Rama and his three brothers Lakshmana Shatrugna, Bharata. This is evidence that Hindu folklore has more distant conanguineous unions.

A person cannot marry his second cousin on the mother's or father's side, and his fourth cousin. The parties must also not be apindas from either side.
