Marriage of my daughter under sikh anand marriage act in Chandigarh to USA citizen.Later marriage was registered in USA.She went to USA on temporary VISA.They illtreated and refused to get her medical treatment or file papers,she had to come back.They later applied for divorce and my daughter went to USA on tourist VISA.She could not stay further and follow her divorce case.Court granted divorce without any division of property.First will indian laws have priority second is divorce legal in india third indian sikh anand marriage act applicable as marriage in india with registration in usa later and finally can we file for return of Istridhan which is mentioned in divorce case.Thanks.
