My husband first filed for divorce in USA but later on he withdrawed his petition after putting pressure by his uncle who recently passed away. It's been 2 years already and reconciliation which went on 1 year failed. It's taking too long for the court proceedings. My parents want to go abroad and file a case against him over there. Is it possible to do that while the divorce case is going on here in India. Please respond. Thanks.

hi
there is no shortcut or fast track divorce in Indian courts. if both parties appear in court, a contested divorce takes about 2 years.
also when divorce proceedings are being conducted in India, it is not legally permissible to file divorce proceedings in USA
