Dowry and Domestic violence done by my husband

Respected Sir/Madam, I got married this year only in the month of May, and the problem is growing day by day. The guy and the family had a high expectation of dowry, which has not been fulfilled by us. Being an educated girl, I was always against it and asked my parents to proceed for marriage only if the boy side do not urge for dowry and it happend accordingly. Boy's mother said they do not want anything, to this we agreed and proceed for marriage. However, post marriage it was his family along with him started pointing on small things from marriage rituals to dowry which was not perfect as per them. My husband didn' t allowed me to talk to my parents. Time passed by and my husband kept on torturing me for dowry and cpntinued his domestic violence. And as per my in-laws it is only girl who needs to make a healthy family irrespective of what she is getting in return and how hard the boy is trying to destroy it. We tried for registry marriage twice but never happened. Ny suggestion?
