Divorce in case of husband missing

What are the rules for divorce in case of husband left home before 6 month or missing . I mean that we are fail to trace him . So in this case how can I divorce or any legal procedure to separate from him ? After how many time I have to legally wait for divorce or applied for it ?
As per presumption in IPC , if his whereabouts couldnt find out , he can be declared as a dead. Thereafter you can remarry.
or after 2 years seperation you can file divorce petition on the ground of desertion
or after 2 years seperation you can file divorce petition on the ground of desertion
