Currently seperated from Wife since 6 to 7 months, I am seeking for divorce and wife's side not agreeing and have not communicated anything at all. I'm currently planning to buy a new car for myself. Should I buy the car in my name or my father's name? Considering if I buy in my name it would be part of wife's property too since I'm not officially divorced yet. Also, if I am paying for EMI, would that be deducted from my net income while alimony is being calculated? (Hindu marriage act)

Dear Sir
For the present you may post pone. If you buy then your status will be increased and accordingly high maintenance and alimony will be granted. Better take some personal loan and keep in FD and say your net salary is low etc.

Don't worry move for buy a car, it will not be part of your wife's asset. It's deemed as self earned property of you. You can apply divorce petition by engaging counsel. Kindly contact for Further information and legal assistance if you required.
