Advice needed to take Legal Step against wife for excessive spending
18-Jul-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I'm 35 year old male, 2 years 6 months married and have a kid on 9 months. I am a service person and belong to a middle class family. My wife is also a service person. For the last couple of months, I'm facing a monetary crisis due to overspending of my wife. In spite of my request, she is misusing domestic utilities for that my monthly expenses of utility bills became high. Also, while requiring any medical support, she is not willing to go to Govt. Hospital and she wants Super Speciality Luxury Medical Support all time. While purchasing baby foods, she always like to buy the expensive one rather than the medium budgeted baby foods. Moreover, even she is also earning but she didn't want to spend anything expect for her parental family and asking more money from me for herself.
I would like to know that under this circumstance what kind of legal step I can take against her. If things go like this, I'll lose all my savings which I've earned so far and I've to be begging.
if your wife is earning and she should also contribute in the family, first get hold of her salary certificate which is of utmost important, then send her a legal notice through a lawyer, no case can be done, rather a warning on a lighter note can be given, but before doing anything, her present salary certificate needs to be taken by you before initiating anything whatsoever
