498a 323 506 34 and problem in getting Government Job

I am selected for govt job but joining letter is awaited. sir I want to know that whether 498a will be an obstacle in getting the job. In my application form it is mentioned that "whether you have been convicted in the court of law" yes or no... and I mentioned "No" And as there is pending case of 498a against me in the lower court, I am very much worried about the same.
