WhatsApp account hacked last night . How do i protect my WhatsApp

My WhatsApp account has been hacked. Fortunately hacker has not been able to access as it has 2 layered protection installed. I am unable to reinstall WhatsApp as it is not allowing me to access.
How can I protect myself from the hacker hacking my account and how do i get to access my WhatsApp account in this situation
If your WhatsApp account has been compromised but still has two-layered protection enabled, here are some steps you can take to secure it and regain access:
1.do not use phone pay or any UPI payment app and net banking
2. Hacker check your pin so don't use pin
3. Reinstall WhatsApp:
Uninstall WhatsApp, then reinstall it from the official Google Play Store or Apple App Store. During the setup, enter your phone number and follow the verification process.
4. Enable Additional Security Measures:
Once you're back in, immediately review your account’s security. Make sure your 2FA PIN is strong and change your email password if you use it for WhatsApp. This will help prevent further unauthorized attempts.
5. Monitor for Suspicious Activity:
Watch for any unusual messages or activity in your WhatsApp account. Warn your contacts not to respond to unusual requests or links from your account, as attackers may try phishing methods to regain control.
