You may not be able to receive the money so freezed in the account in your personal capacity. You may apply to the bank for further information and what police station has the investigation on the said issue. Once you have the information contained within your knowledge, you'll need to show that the account holder has passed away. Death certificate and nominations are essentially expected to be proven. Then, you'll need to address the queries in prescribed format , on affidavits and then the investigation officer would be looking into the complaint for so called fraudulent activities in your account. If you can prove that you've not received any amount of fraud in your father's account, the police/cyber crime dept will issue an NOC in the favour of the nominee. Such nominee can operate the account of the deceased and revive the money, so frozen.
