What to do when local goons giving threat to life?
01-Oct-2023 (In Criminal Law)
A week ago, one local person was abusing my father in front of me due to which I had some quarrel with him. Yesterday night around 12 persons with came to my house to beat/kill me in a planned manner. They were carrying 'Lathi', Pistal. Two persons knocked my door and said that Police is calling my father, Rest were waiting (hiding themselves) nearby for the door to get opened. luckily I got the information and we didn't opened the door and they turned back. I have a thread for my and my family life. Kindly advise what future step should be taken by me/us.
First of all, take the receipt by giving an application to the whole incident in the nearby police station. After which you have to install entire camera on, when you install the camera, they will be scared to come again. If they do something wrong with you in the future, then immediately enter the police again. Please do not ignore this incident, it will be fine for the future
What happens if you slap a police officer in India

Have you filed police complaint against them? If not then immediately file an FIR against those persons and pursue it. Disclose to the police the whole scenario. Make the complaint in writing and take acknowledgment of it from the police. Beside that if you feel you can also take some practical measures such as going outside city with your family for some time, being cautious while going out and returning home, taking special precautions for family members etc. Beside all these you can also take help of local politicians (MLA etc.) for resolving the dispute amicably.
We often ignore the matters which become serious later on,so ,I advice to take immediate action ,and complain about the matter without any delay to local police in writing and also post by registered post copy of same to superintendent of police,if local police does not take action then send your written information by registered post ,if after all thos you get no relief then file a complaint before C.J.M. having jurisdiction and pray to send the complaint u/s 156 Cr.P.C. for registering F.I.R.
