Unknown drunken person started beating me

On 28th Sept 2019 , my car was parked in front of restaurant . One unknown person came closer to my car by pushing his motorbike . He couldnot balance properly as he was drunken. His bike fell on corner of my car . I came out of my car from driving seat as I was about to move. I told him , you must have damaged my car , let me check by torch as there was darkness. He started abusing and then beating me . He hit on my head twice by hand , also people around favoured him . I took his motorbike number. I filed NCR in local police station but what police did is only they could find out address of the owner during last six months. When I am asking copy of address , they are either away from office or they are saying there are 3 person of same name , it will take time to identify right person. I want to give this case to lawyer as police is not doing anything. Kindly suggest.
