Sir, my friend file a civil case in the Hon'ble Court against me as if i executed a promissory note for an amount of Rs 2 lakhs, but on contesting me, the court sent the disputed promissory note to lab and found it was forged.Hence, i filed a criminal case against my friend u/s 467 IPC. Later, i and my friend came to compromise, and requested the police to withdraw the case, but Police says there is no way in this case, except arrest of my friend. Hence, i request to issue the way to set aside the case as per law,

both of you should approach the high court and file a quash petition u/s 482 cr.p.c praying for quashing the case. high court will quash the case even though 467 IPC ,(forgery) if the complainant withdraws the complaint
