Passport for police verification

I had a terrible fallout with a consultant in the past who took money to recruit people , and they were recruited into my company too , i closed my company in 2014 , and now live in a different place , but someone had told me that if i was named in an FIR , a passport could be denied to me , now i am worried if indeed someone would have filed an FIR , there is no way for me to know as i was not living the address on my aadhaar card and even if court would have issued summons i wouldn't have known , the current address i'm living is from 2016 , and i want to apply for a passport , i have done no crime in life and will never do , so can i go ahead and change my aadhaar address to the current residence without fear and apply for the passport ? facts of my case : 1)I fear that back in 2014 , someone would have on purpose filed a case , the place of business is in a completely different state 2)I am currently living in a P.S limits in which, for the past 3 years have only been teac

hi
you can check online in police website or court website about any FIR that had been filed against you ( based on your old address). since police today use integrated database, better check police website and ecourts gov in website
you can change your aadhar address at any time depending on your convenience if no cases are filed.
