Married man cheated after long term relationship

I am a married woman & was in relation with a married man from 4 yrs. He has 9 years kid. He had sexual relation with other women earlier (I've proof). He told me he is not happy with his current wife so got involved into these. But he loves me truly & will marry me. He said he was scared of his family but wants to marry me. We were physically close & to give me assurance, he got married to me in temple (i have proof). Last, 1.5 yrs he said his divorce case is going on in court & he will soon get divorce then he will marry me. Recently, I figured out he was lying & no divorce case was going on. But I trusted him again when he said now he will surely take legal steps. Now, his family figured out about us & he is completely ignoring me. I'm very depressed; still can't believe he did this to me. I still love him but his cheating & ignorance is killing me. Is there a legal way to force him for marriage? or else I want him to learn a lesson so that he doesn't play with emotions.
