In how many days can a legal notice be send cheque dishonored

sir; still I have not received bounce extract from d bank for cheque bounce; already one week over submitted to bank; so I am worried by h many days more I can send notice legally to the cheater???
Hi... After getting bounce intimation from the bank you have one month time to send legal notice to cheater and after receiving of the notice from him he have 15 days time to answer and after the completion of 15 days you will get one month time to file a case.
