How to speed up my case on Domestic violence

Hello from trichy on 2009 iam married to Mr. Sakthi sudhan after 22days he harass me because of my family situation I have continued my married life but after he finished doctorate he harass daily after that 2016 I come to my father's home In 2017 he send me divorce letter hmop no:400/17, after that I put Dvc no.:64/17,mc.no:31/17 hearing going on past one year but I am studying BE in thiagarajar college of engineering madurai, I can't put leave after 5years after harassment iam continuing studies now I can't able to attend continuously because of my studies, I need to live studies are the only source to live, I have queries on how to speed up my case please kindly give me solution thanking you.
Only option is file a writ petition before High court to give direction to the court where your petition is pending to expedite the trial and dispose the case. Before moving High court approch your court to dispose it stating your inability to appear regularly and to speed up the case. Your personal appearance is not always required in the court in each and every hearing. Your Advocate can file petition to dispense your appearance. Whenever your presence is required you appear, that is your evidence, otherwise your Advocate can handle it.
