How to file a complaint against a person living in different city

Hi, my name is Bupesh live at karwan, hyderabad. On feb 2016 i got cheated by one of the fraud person who lives in rajasthan. He showed a document which shows he is director of that consultancy company and promised me to give me the job in abroad and took money by bank tranfer and ran away. but i know his home address in rajasthan. As i live in hyderabad, can i file a complaint against the person who lives in bikaner, rajsthan. i have all proofs of bank transfer statement. Can you please explain the process.
the jurisdiction of the criminal complaint will be defined under section 176 of the code of criminal procedure and hence please see whether the transactions you have send would attract the jurisdiction of Hyderabad as you paid at Hyderabad account and hence complaint to be filed in Hyderabad and to be executed in bikkinar after obtaining warrant

Hello,
If you have been cheated in Feb 2016, why are you silent since more than 1 year? Approach the police station immediately and lodge a complaint against the person for cheating and criminal breach of trust. Get the police register an FIR against that person and arrest that person as both the sections are cognizable and non bailable. However, if the police not helping you, you can file a private complaint before the concerned magistrate court and request the court to direct the police to register an FIR and proceed according to law and take action. You should file a complaint under Karwan police station against the person who lives in Bikaner, Rajasthan
File a complaint under Karwan police station.
Please note that if the police find that your complaint merits investigation, will forward the case to the Magistrate for taking cognizance and thereafter the Police will travel to Bikaner at State government expense and get custody of the guy.
so you need not worry about where the accuses is living.
