Does criminal conviction effect the joining in IAS

I am preparing civil services from last 5 years. I have cleared prelims two times.FIR filed against me under section 323,324,341.court will give judgment next month If I convicted under this court, am I eligible to join ias or ips..? I will go for appeal for upper court ,but my doubt is this lower court conviction effect me to join ias? In 2010,supereme court clears the way for rape convict to join ias. In my case there is any possibility to excuse me to join IAS..? please advice me ...your advice is very necessary for my life to take decision of stop preparation of civil services or continue preparing for civils...... Thank you very much

No, you can not appear in IAS examination, as you are not eligible for it. As you are the convicted person and by the details you have given me provided here, it is clear that no appeal is pending before any court of law. For more assistance you can contact me.
