If the vakalatnama says "for filing/taking back documents for withdrawing suits/appeals/petitions with permission to institute fresh suits/appeals/petitions for signing & filing petitions of compromise in connection with the said matter"nnDoes that mean my lawyer can withdraw my case or do compromise on my behalf without even informing me if the accused offers him a good settlement amount? I want to fight for justice, not settlement. Should I sign a vakalatnama which doesn't grant such rights?
if you want to fight for justice you are free to take up your cause all by yourself. in that case you won't have to sign any vakalatnama nor will be facing any issue of the matter getting settled without your consent.
