CAN LOCAL POLICE STATION INCHARGE GIVE BAIL TO A PERSON IN IPC 379 ,WHO IS ACCUSED FOR THEFT ?

No . Police can not give bail in cases releats to 379 ipc. Offence enumerated in section 379 of ipc is non bailable and cognigeble offence. And in such cases only court has power to grant or reject bail to the accused.

No, Police in charge, if thana has no power to grant Bail. Only from court has power to grant bail on petition, also involvement as per FIR has also counted. You may contact for needful.

Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code is a cognizable and non bailable offence.In such type of cases police have no power to give bail to the person who is accused of theft under section 379 of the Indian Penal Code. You may apply for anticipatory bail .

police station incharge has no power to grant bail for the accused of u/s 379 i.p.c (theft)... whether he can serve a notice to accused u/s 41(a) and submit the chargesheet to court without arresting the same.
