Adultery : Criminal complaint can be filed or not

Honorable Apex court decriminalized adultery in September 2018.
If my wife were involved in adulterous relations prior to this date - say 2017-2018 and I got the evidences now.
Can I at least file a complaint with police against the concerned men as the cause of action predates the decriminalization of section 497.
your action is not clear from here do you want to make a complaint punishe her or do you want to divorce with her. legal complaint should not show one aspect it will show all the aspect before filing in a complaint , if you want for the further advice please discuss with me I will guide you. thanks
