Where to seek information about legal heirs

04-Jun-2023 (In Corporate Law)
My Grandfather was a Director and than a chairman of a PUBLIC Limited company, He was the Promoter share holder. The Company during his term was operating but was not listed in the SEBI due to some issue, He expired 8 years back. There was another entity who had bought shares of this Company and know they have put a case on us as legal hiers for the share invested in the company. We were never part of the company ever. Question - Are we legal hiers with reference to Public limited company Question - Can we be dragged for the operations of my grandfather as a director in a public company
