Rights of Managing Director and Directors in Pvt Ltd Company

Ours is a private limited company in which there are 2 directors and 1 Managing director. In case of opinion differences, Do MD of Company has the authority to stop any decision made by 2 directors on behalf of company, if MD thinks that the decision is not taken for benefit of Company ? Is there any legal way by which Managing director of company can stop the directors for that particular decision and for future ?
Dear Sir To guide in you a better way I will like to see your Articles of Association. If I found that your MD is performing in a wrong manner,then you can take appropriate steps against him.
