Patent rights after PCT expiration

20-Mar-2023 (In Corporate Law)
How might you counsel a party corporate licensing a patent you own who is concerned about not having protection in India but having protection in two of their other major markets? We have patent protection in other countries but were unable to file a patent in India due to expiration of the PCT. Our issued patents should prevent anyone else in India from having a patent since our patent would be "prior art" to a new application, correct?
