I was working in a firm Quytech, Gurgaon from past 3.5 months but due to the busy schedule I was unable to prepare for higher studies. So, I resigned and mentioned the same in the resignation mail. Company asked me to serve the Notice Period but didn't serve notice period because it is for 60 days and due to this company sent legal notice for compensation of their losses without any warnings verbally or written.

You should immediately consult a lawyer and file an appropriate reply through a lawyer within the stipulated time mentioned in the legal notice. Further you should share the relevant documents with the lawyer

reply to that notice through Advocate otherwise the company may proceed with the recovery options and it can further create issue for foreign study or travel. best advised to reply to that legal notice.
