company sent notice for dishonored cheque of bond

at a time of joining company signed cheque of bond amount also taken sign that training is provided but there was no training provided. after all this they assigned me different working profile also bad environment. i complain them saying provide other client but there was no response, so i abscond. now they sent me notice saying dishonoring cheque and spent on training. please guide on this
You should not have given them a Post-Dated Cheque as it got Dishonoured. And, I am quite sure that it must have got Dishonoured due to insufficiency of funds.
