Publisher not paying royalties

02-Jul-2023 (In Trademark & Copyright Law)
My book was published in 2012. I saw on the internet it is being sold all across the world for past 7 years both online and offline. I have a signed contract that says I have copyright of manuscript and publisher will pay me royalties if more than 1100 copies sell. But he has not once paid me and does not reply to my emails asking him to show accounts of sale. Can I sell my book on my own as he has not kept his word. Isn't the contract null because he quiet about sales.

As per your statement the contract is called breach of trust and eaisly you can claim all the royality till today without any fear as such for that you suppose to have all the documentation works which is been done between you people no issue if you are not interested to deal with him to proceed further you can take it over
