Dear Sir/Madam,
I just want to know whether we can use any photograph-based news article as a reference for any research article (book chapter). Does using such matter (with paper name, date etc.) as the document comes under copyright violation?
No, it does not comes under violation of copyright act because in research work it is allowed. and you should aware that about trade violation.
