Libel - College used my photo without my permission

Hi, My name is Priyansh Tiwari I have done my Bachelors of engineering from Vindhya Institute of technology and science, satna (MP) which is affiliated to RGPV. I completed my graduation in 2019. Other than providing a degree my college VITS completely failed to provide me any placement assistance. After various hardships and tough procedure i however managed to get job in ACCENTURE. I am working with accenture since 3months. Yesterday my friend forwarded me a newspaper post displaying my photo and some news regarding campus placement from VITS.When i went through whole article i was literally shocked. The college which provided me degree that is Vindhya Institute of technologg and science in that article had clearly claimed that i got this accenture job from their placement cell. They basically are making a false claim. So basically now i want two suggestions by your side - 1. Do college have any right to publish my fake details ? 2. If no, what i should do now?
