Whether the registration of real estate projects under RERA mandatory?

I had already posted a question regarding RERA but did not get a proper response. I just wanted to know whether registration of real estate projects under this act is mandatory or not. Take your time and do the sufficient research work and give me a proper reply. Do not immediately enforce me to seek paid service. Thanking you, Mahesh
As per the central and state legislation, all upcoming and ongoing projects should be registered under RERA. THOSE WHO fail to adhere to the mandatory registration have to face penalty. It has been widely circulated in newspaper.

Registration under RERA is compulsory for all new and ongoing projects from July 31, 2017.
