when to file execution petition at NCDRC

27-Apr-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
We paid the builder 85% of the contract, but he failed to construct the building. The court vide its judgement dated 04-01-2016 ordered the OP to return the amount along with interest from the date of deposit till its recovery. There was also a review petition made which was rejected on 23-02-2016, We have sent two reminders but have not received the money. It seems we have no alternative but to file for a execution petition. 1. what is the earliest date and the latest date for filing a execution petition. 2. Do I have to engage an advocate or can I file it myself as an individual.

Hi, You need to be fast and no waiting for execution petition. as per your statement, the two efforts by you are failed. in the meantime the builder will make some defence and will delay in paying the money. You are required to be file soon.
