What to do if district forum is not accepting our counter
25-Jun-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
The problem is the opposite parties did not bother for about 8 months to respond to the complaint. Now at this late stage after about 8 months they have filed a written reply and vakalat, as it is only 45 days given by SC order, the district consumer forum is not accepting our counter but in turn allowed the opposite party written statement and vakalat, can you let me know what to do? thanks
you can file an appeal and revision against the docket order or speaking order of the forum with the state commission and can revoke such act if any found illegal so be pleased to consult an advocate in order to do so
What you mentioned is not clear.
The reason for not accepting your written counter ??
Please check again for the reasons .
With knowing the facts and details of the case ,I cannot say "yes" or "no'.

If you are not okay or satisfy with the district consumer forum you can also go for appeal in any other superior courts like high court, and for you what happened is that will be mostly depends on sensitivity of the issue and the court always go on the matters with set of rules.
