Taking action against a courier company for denial of service & help

I shipped Rakhis on this Raksha Bandhan for me maternal uncles as my mother was unable to visit them. Shipment was sent 10 days before festival. However it was delivered 2 days after the festival. On arrival it was rejected by receipient. I have neither received it back nor any update/apology from the company. I expet monetary compensation along with the apology. What options do I have ?
Hi, you may approach consumer court for the lack in services of courier company. But you should have proofs to show the fault of that courier company. There you may also claim compensation for damages, the courier company has made to you.

You can file a complaint before the concerned District Consumer Redressal and Grievances Forum against the courier for deficiency in service and can claim monetary compensation and litigation expenses but you have to spend time, money and energy to get the relief and it may take time of atl east one year in District Forum and if the other party went in appeal, then before State Commission.
