Sold a studio light online now buyer harassing and threatening

22-Jul-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
I sold a studio light set through olx to a buyer for photoshoot purposes. He checked the functioning and was satisfied. Later that night he tried to return the same stating that the lights couldnt be used with a flash trigger. I refused to accept the lights and refund him because he hadn't explicitly requested the function during sale and also because i have done many photo shoots with the same lights and i never used a flash trigger, which means the lights still work perfectly for his purpose. He is threatening a police complaint against me. I'm a bit worried. Can he move on me legally?

Yes he can move to the police but the reality when checking up, then the police can be submitted b report to the police which no offence occurred in respect of baseless allegations. If you all right about the item, then you nothing to worry.

As you mentioned in your question, many matters are not cleared here, i kindly requesting you to notice. First of all which company studio light it is not cleared.
2.whether it is guaranteed or warranted not cleared.
3 whether you have provided the relevant documents not cleared.
Ultimately in my opinion,it is very difficult to tell you unless answer these questions.
