Regarding The Plot Dispute Enrolled In A Pvr Ltd Company's Scheme

Dear Sir/ Madam, This is with reference to the unprofessional behaviour of a infrastructure company named Neelkala Developers Pvt Ltd, they provided a cheque which has been bounced two times. A bank note has been issued and reached at my address by india post, Sent by bank. Can this case the be treated in consumer forum as I am a customer and the party is a registered company. Kindly provide the step to step process so that I can initiate this process individually. Regards, Anshu Singh 9451005300

Hi,

You can file a case for cheque dishonour under Section 138 Negotiable Instruments Act after serving a notice to the concerned company. Consumer case can only be filed if there is a deficiency in any service provided by the company.
Alternatively you can initiate Insolvency proceedings against the company under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code.
