Regarding accessing Mobile call logs by Telecom operator

01-Mar-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)

Is it legal for Telephone operator (Idea ) to view call logs of existing user on the ground that he has missed payment for mobile bill? I haven't paid mobile phone bill of Idea, was not reachable by idea for 1-2 months. Idea has accessed my call logs and called up the number I had frequently called, to extract information about my where about. The call made by idea operator are threatening and misguiding. Is it legal to access my call logs? If it is illegal how could I lodge a complaint against idea

Your mobile network company can access your call log when it is required but if the company is making threatening calls to the numbers in your call log and harassing them then they can file a complaint case in a police station against the company of harassment.
