Received Legal Notice from Telecom Service Provider.

14-Sep-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)

I have a tata docomo Photon Plus internet connection which had been lost on 05.08.2015. On the same day, I have informed their call centre about closure of connection, but didnt so. They registered as Loss of Dungle. Again after one month I registered the complaint. They have registered the call and given the registration number. As on date 05.08.2015, I have cleared the dues. Now I have received legal notice from Telecome service provider for payment of dues from July, 15. Please guide me what to do whether to make payment or to go against the telecome service provider. Kindly guide me sir.

Write back to the telecom service provider giving full details of events right from the time you requested for closure of connection and details about when you registered complaint of loss of dongle - mention complaint number etc. Also give details of proof of payment of dues by you till 5.8.2015 and mention mode of payment. Please get in touch with me in case issue is still not resolved.

Hi,

Going by what you have stated herein it is advised that in order to safeguard your interest you should possess receipt of payment, any reference number of complaint made to TATA DoCoMo and any police complaint if made..
