Purchased car but documents still not transferred into buyer's name

I have purchased a omni car from someone. I gave all the money for that to him. but still he has not transfer the documents on my name. I have no proof of given money. what I have to do?

First of all you need to send him legal notice stating all the incident and at end asking him to transfer the documents of car in your name within 7 days from the date of notice received by him. And in spite of enough time is given as per notice and still not replied or transferred in your name then file a written complaint to your nearest police station or in the police station where the transaction taken place, stating the all incident as well as attach the copy of that notice. It will help you much because you have no proof of given money as you said.

have you chek the all documents before purchase the car? you can give paper publication of purchase of the said car and if anyone has objection. then took the help of RTO to transfer the vehicle but all things are so difficult to do legally
