Procedure to get compensation for bad service

12-Jan-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
I had given my cloths to a reputed laundromart cloth washing center here in Bangalore last month. When i went to get back my cloths we found they had given my cloths to someone else, and later they were not able to trace him. They had agreed to pay me some minimal amount for the cloths. But looks like they just wants buy time saying this and that reason and escape from providing money. Please let me know how to should i take action on them legally.

Yes you can sue the washing centre for rendering such service. But a legal action against them may turn out be more expensive than the service they have rendered or even the value of the clothes that you have lost. Also there is one more thing that can be done. Feel free to consult for further legal advice. Happy to help.

Dear Querist,
I don't know that is the value of cloth that u hv deposited with the laundromat, even otherwise, if u don't get back the cloth that u hv deposited the only remedy is compensation. See reverse of the bill and get to know the remedy and try to assert u r right, failing wherein u can file a consumer dispute case for mental agony and compensation.
