New laptop stolen from my baggage in qatar airways how to get claim

I have ordered a new laptop in us &was taking it back to india by qatar airways on returning home in india i find that the laptop is stolen from my baggage. Despite of numerous communication the airline is not responding. So i want to ask can i file a case against airline for recovery.
Yes you can file a consumer complaint before the consumer Forum for deficient service and compensation. Alternately you can file suit for recovery of damages, the terms of Montreal Convention will support your case which deals with the provisions regarding international transport of people and goods. You can take any one of these two suggested action.
