Neither exchanging Books nor refund for misprint and torn pages

I have placed online order of books worth Rs 11.5 thousands Delhi based Publications.Next Day I received Books through Courier But It was in Bad shape, few pages misprint,2-3 pages torn inside and cover was old and something is free on book which was unreadable may be CD or otherwise. I requested him to change Books or refund. He is not agree none of this options. I told him to be ready for consequences. What should I do Now. Please help
You need to check the policy of the online portal from where you have ordered. What do they say regarding such a case. in case its silent on it then you can send them a legal notice asking for refund or change or copies. in case they do not reply then you can approach the consumer forum seeking your damages and deficiency of services.

send the publication house a statutory notice and give them notice period of 15 days, if even after that the publication house does not meet your demand then you can proceed to file a complaint under consumer court for deficiency in service.

Request you if it's manageable then kindly adjust and try to accommodate and make sure that you inform all including your near and dear ones to boycott this seller. If you cannot accommodate then send him a legal notice and if he fails to respond then file a consumer case. Make sure the commodity value vs your layer fees, case, time, energy. It should be worth it. Also post in book forums that this seller is not worthy.
