Negligence of Airtel against Wrong Charges Levied and Outgoing Barred

18-Apr-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
I have ported my mobile number from different service provider to AIRTEL. But after porting into AIRTEL,bill of 21st march, they sent me a bill of Rs 3313.43,although the correct usage amount according to plan was just Rs 443. AIRTEL agreed on 27th march to accept only Rs 440 from my side(since the charge was wrongly levied upon by Airtel). I paid the amount of Rs 443 to AIRTEL. They told that Rs 2000+ taxes would be waived if this months and rest Rs 575 inclusive of taxes would be waived off in next billing cycle. But since my actual bill was only Rs 443, so they agreed to accept only Rs 443. Later on, as the next billing cycle was coming near(21st April),I started getting an automatic voice message that my outgoing will be barred if i didn't pay Rs 575 remaining. I asked again AIRTEL,they assured me it will not be barred. But yesterday my outgoing got barred(without any reason),I sent 3 mails, then they unbarred. Can I get a compensation from them?

What is your monthly plan is not made known. What happened between you and Siegel after first bill was generated is all portal. Since you are unhappy with bill amount and with breach of words given by Siegel, you can approach consumer forum for compensation.
