i have completed b.voc software development in SJC (http://www.sjctni.edu/) my degree (B.Voc) has approved by UGC (https://www.ugc.ac.in). i plan to do the Pg in Institute of Distance Education University of Madras. And the Pg courses are approved the same so called UGC(http://noc.unom.ac.in/webportal/uploads/miscelloneous/ide-admission-notification.pdf). And Institute of Distance Education University of Madras says that my courses is not under their eligibility list. Questions : 1. UGC approved my courses but the university says my courses is not valid, is it possible that the university can do like this? 2. I got one mail form UGC they said that my course is more equal to B.Sc they how come my course is not listed in Institute of Distance Education University of Madras eligibility list? 3. can I get my answers ?

If you think your grievance is genuine, and it is worth the time, you can make a representation to the Madras University, and based on the reply, you can take out a writ petition seeking directions to admit you to the university.
