My result still not published by college what to do.

20-Dec-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
I am a foreign student studying in a college affiliated to Bangalore university. In my last Semester, the results for one of the subjects I appeared for was not published while results for all the other subjects were published. I contacted my college about the same and they said the I have been marked as 'not present' and it will take some time to solve the issue. Now, it has been over six months and all they tell me is to wait. I called up the university and they told me that the University cannot help me on this, we have to proceed through the college. The management in my college do not provide good response but just tell me to wait. They say that they have sent letter to university but that was six months ago and I have no way to verify even if they have sent a letter. What legal actions can I take? Can I sue my college and University for Negligence? If so, in which court? Can I sue them for actual performance (i.e. providing me with the results) and actual and punitive damages?

You can either file a writ petition or go to the consumer court.

Contact a good lawyer near you with all your papers and he will be able to help you. Yes you can ask for a direction from the court for them to declare the results.
